Scientific Rationale
Introduction
It's a new approach to the bio-stimulant treatment with lifting effect to the face, neck and body.
It's based upon the inserction of suture threads made of PDO/PLLA/PCL a powerful synthetic fiber, consisting of a monofilament which is hydrolyzed after a some time in the tissue.
Clinical observation showed that polydioxanone stimulates the production of new collagen-the protein responsible for the firmness and elasticity of the skin-increasing the synthesis of endogenous hyaluronic acid and improving the local microcirculation.
It is for the this reasons that the tissue where the PDO/PLLA/PCL is inserted becomes firmer, more elastic and better hydrated.
Methodology

The Linelift methodic is based on the use of natural tension lines of the skin, causing an effect similar to the surgical facelift.
The Linelift threads limit the strength of the facial muscles, stimulating the effect of botulinum toxin, but with the great Advantage of a more natural look because it does not paralyze muscles.
Effects
Introduction
With the use of the Linelift threads is achieved an immediate improvement of the apprearence of the skin. Between one to two weeks later begins the synthesis of the natural proteins of the body(collagen and elastin). This process continues until the threads are re-absorbed-which occurs by hydrolysis-taking approximately 6 to 8 months. The aesthetic effect, however, last 12 to 18 months, due to the meaningful endoge-ous stimulation generated. The speed of re-absorption of the PDO/PLLA/PCL thread, along with its small diameter, prevents risks of skin thickening and scar, which can, istead, happen with other biocompatible materials. The effect, brightness, support and toning the tissues, increase in volume, improvement of wrinkles and furrows.

PDO/PLLA/PCL, it's long used material for suture threads in cariac surgery, general surgery and vascular surgery.
It's a completely safe medical device, completely reabsorbable and hypoallergenic.
Linelift does not require anesthesia, it's heavy metals free, it's not allergenic,
it does not trigger immunogenic mechanisms, it has no significant side effects(inflammatory reaction is very low)
